Troop 304 Campout and Hike up Mt. Lafayette

In the heart of the White Mountains, near the Flume and the "Old Man on the Mountain", Mt. Lafayette offered us a challenging hike and great views!

At the start of Greenleaf_trail (274108 bytes) The Troop assembles at the beginning of the trail.
The AMC Greenleaf_hut (206708 bytes) At the mid-way point up Mt. Lafayette, we come across one of the mountain huts maintained by the Appalachian Mountain Club.
Resting at the Greenleaf_hut (99375 bytes) Although we didn't eat the gourmet meals that were available, we did take time out for lunch and rest.

Falling waters (120163 bytes) On our way down. we took the Falling Waters Trail. Towards the end of the trail, we are greeted by the sight of two opposing waterfalls. This is one of the two.
