Troop 304 Campout and Hike at Mt. Chocorua!

This year the first campout was at Mt. Chocorua. Camping at the base, the Scouts hiked up to the summit. It was a challenging hike. But dinner sure tasted good at the end of the day!

The cabin is chained to the mountain!On the way down, we passed an old cabin that used to be a hotel. It was chained to the mountain because winds had blown its predecessor off the mountain! Good view of Mt. Chocorua in the background.
