CAMPING

Camping is one of the most exciting and fun parts of being a Boy Scout and Troop 304 has always maintained one of the strongest camping programs in the area. A weekend trip is planned for every month during the school year. During July, the troop camps together at Camp T. L. Storer, a Boy Scout camp maintained by the Boston Minuteman Council, in central New Hampshire.

Troop 304 is fortunate to have a permanent camp in Milford, New Hampshire. Since 1957, Troop 304 has regularly visited and improved this 40+ acre heavily wooded parcel, known as Camp Dalton. As the site of the first campout of the year, it provides an ideal setting for new scouts to develop camping skills that they will find useful throughout their years as a Boy Scout.

Medical form: The troop needs one of these on file each year from each scout. In particular, one must be on file for each scout going on a campout. Only the class one section needs to be completed. A more detailed form is required for summer camp. Completed forms should be given to the scoutmaster or any of the assistant scoutmasters. (Summer camp requires a different 4-page form available on the FORMS page.)
